Plot

Based on the famous teaching experiment 1967 in California conducted by Ron Jones (who served as a consultant on the film), transplant it into action didactic drama of modern Germany, where Rainer (Jürgen Vogel), a hip high school teacher, tried to convey the points of autocracy. In a few days, what began as a dangerous idea, like discipline and community, building a real movement: The Wave. On the third day, the students start ostracizing and threatening others. When the conflict finally erupted into violence in intramural water polo match, the teacher decided to decided to experiment. But it was too late.
